Our Wedding

Ruthie had just moved to Denver, and Chris was painfully single. On a Sunday night, they both found themselves on the dance floor of a local spot. Chris had been coming there for years, sharing many good dances, but he had never found that dance partner—the one who made everything else fade away.When he asked the new girl in town to dance, everything changed. She wasn’t very good—at one point even asking how the last move went, which he lovingly rated a 4/10. And while their dancing would never have landed them on Dancing with the Stars, it topped the only leaderboard that mattered. They drifted into sweet, joy-filled conversations, laughing between steps, and before they knew it, they were dancing only with each other for the rest of the night.Fast forward ten months, and Ruthie and Chris were still laughing, still dancing. What began with a simple invitation had grown into a deep and steady love—rooted in their shared love for God, strengthened by their love for each other, and brought to life through the outdoors and countless adventures.When the time came, Chris was ecstatic to finally ask his lifelong dance partner to spend forever with him. Ruthie often joked, “I’m somewhat of a wedding pro—I’ll see any proposal coming,” but thankfully, her answer was never in question. With a joyful yes, they stepped into the next chapter together, hand in hand and ready for all the journeys still ahead

We know a 3.5 hour break between ceremony and reception is a ~little~ unconventional. We hope this is a good time for people to eat lunch, give kiddos a nap, and get ready for a PARTY. If you're from out of town, and not sure how to fill those few hours, here are a few things we recommend for a proper CO experience:)
